- Latin American and Caribbean International Movers Association

LACMA is a democratic association founded in 1969 with office in Panama, Republic of Panama. It's membership consist of experienced and prestigious moving and relocation companies from Latin America and the rest of the world.

It's a leader association, respected in the industry for its well-established purpose and character, attractive for its constant innovation in services, directed towards continuous improvement and characterized for the strong bond between its members.  

LACMA is the Latin American association represented in FIDI, thus representing the LACMA/FIDI affiliates in the region under FIDI Latin America. Nonetheless, LACMA does not require their members to be FIDI affiliates; LACMA maintains its independent affiliation criteria.

It counts with various programs - scholarship, humanitarian aid, training and payment guarantee program (PGP).

For more than 20 years,  its own training institute provides on-site and virtual seminars, including  a training course for Packers Instructors.

To integrate the Latin American and Caribbean international moving companies, amongst themselves and with the world, in order to expand their businesses.

Our Objectives
To contribute to the commercial development of its members through mutual cooperation, advice, information and collaboration.
To set and maintain standards of services in the industry.
To establish and maintain ethical norms to which the members must abide.
To resolve, as a mediator, any conflicts that might arise among its members or between a member and others non-affiliated with the association.
To obtain and transmit information related to the activities of its members, or of the international moving industry.
To protect the areas of marketing, which are particular to the members of the Latin American and Caribbean region.
